Our Mission

"Our chief want in life is someone who will make us do what we can."

                                                             ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson

We consider ourselves learning partners with those who seek to explore and become more effective in their work and lives. Our mission is to expand the capacity of our clients to grow and sustain their purpose and values within ever-changing circumstances. Working with groups and individuals, we help them to build awareness, skills, strength and capacity to engage more fully in their lives and to make the contributions they seek. Simultaneously, we increase their levels of skill in the fundamentals of life and leadership: strategic and operating skills, positioning, personal and interpersonal communications skills and results.

Our Values and Commitments

We believe that within each human being lies the deep desire for authentic expression, intimate connection and true meaning.

We have found that integral coaching, a way of collaborating with clients to evoke their uniqueness and their essential truths, effectively supports a person's capacity to align with and actualize their fullest potential.

We are committed to collaborative partnerships designed to evoke these outcomes in ourselves and others. We do so by cultivating relationships that are:

  • Authentic: Modeling and inviting genuine freedom of expression, which includes speaking what one is thinking, feeling, sensing, and attending to what is not said but might need saying. Doing so with honesty and humility.
  • Practical: Focusing on what is useful and what works, including tying our work to defined outcomes that can be sustained beyond the terms of the coaching relationship.
  • Elegant: Addressing, with simple clarity, what is most essential and relevant.
  • Intelligent: Including assessments grounded in solid evidence and learning models derived from recognized human learning behavior, theory and practice.
  • Compassionate: Cultivating a safe, trusting holding environment within which truth can emerge and grow.
  • Integral: Recognizing interdependencies, valuing multiple intelligences and our connection to others; acknowledging the ultimate paradoxes and mysteries of seemingly competing realities and forces.
